I think my dollar could go a lot further off Disney property.<\/p>\n<p>If you end up staying here, I recommend <a rel=\"nofollow sponsored\" href=\"https:\/\/affiliate.insider.com?h=c1c931fa8b60f48916635d0fe2b9449ad82261151b14a43c291fd53d3cce1f8b&#038;postID=6297add3f9954a5eff753a45&#038;postSlug=best-and-worst-places-to-stay-disney-world-for-adults-2022-6&#038;site=bi&#038;u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.hotels.com%2Fho234365%2Fdisney-s-all-star-movies-resort-lake-buena-vista-united-states-of-america%2F\">All-Star Movies<\/a> because of its recently renovated rooms.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div>Disney&#8217;s Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa feels a bit dated.<\/div>\n<div>\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"4032\" alt=\"external shot of a stature at saratoga springs resort disney world\" charset=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/i.insider.com\/6297b4c43efa8c0019aa82b3?format=jpeg\" height=\"3024\"><figcaption>Saratoga Springs Resort at Disney World.<\/p>\n<p>Carly Caramanna<\/p>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Average room rate: <\/strong>$450 to $800<\/p>\n<p><strong>Level: <\/strong>Deluxe<\/p>\n<p>Inspired by its namesake New York town, this Victorian-style resort embraces the equestrian theme throughout its sprawling property.<\/p>\n<p>Its sheer size leads to a number of issues, like packed pools and crowded bus transportation to parks. Plus, the older property feels a bit dated, and there&#8217;s no guarantee that you&#8217;ll be housed in one of the newly remodeled rooms.<\/p>\n<p>For a deluxe-level resort, it lacks any standout dining options, and it&#8217;s a bit far from the parks. The bus-only transportation system to the parks also proves to be a major headache as the two resorts often share buses.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div>Disney&#8217;s Coronado Springs Resort and Gran Destino Tower feels like a convention center \u2014 because it is.<\/div>\n<div>\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"3024\" alt=\"internal shot of a lobby at coronado href=\"https:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/disney-coronado-springs-is-it-worth-it-review-2022-5\">Disney&#8217;s Coronado Springs<\/a> embraces Spanish and Mexican influences in its design, but it&#8217;s not enough to make you forget that this is a functioning convention center.<\/p>\n<p>Given its size, you could easily clock in a mile before ever setting foot in a theme park \u2014 especially if you&#8217;re interested in walking over to the pool that features a replica 50-foot Mayan pyramid.<\/p>\n<p>The saving grace is the newest addition, Gran Destino Tower, which carries a more upscale feel complete with a rooftop lounge and stunning views.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div>The buses can be a headache at Disney&#8217;s Caribbean Beach draw you to the impeccably themed <a rel=\"nofollow sponsored\" href=\"https:\/\/affiliate.insider.com?h=286e51c4c41cf163b14e2ac6a6129dfff3e8e0f35d14c7cd9b97d84b1f81b9c6&#038;postID=6297add3f9954a5eff753a45&#038;postSlug=best-and-worst-places-to-stay-disney-world-for-adults-2022-6&#038;site=bi&#038;u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.hotels.com%2Fho106105%2Fdisney-s-caribbean-beach-resort-lake-buena-vista-united-states-of-america%2F\">Caribbean Beach Resort<\/a> but be warned: The massive property consists of six island-themed villages, and you have to rely on an internal bus system to get around.<\/p>\n<p>If you don&#8217;t mind the size, you can relax at a number of the island-inspired dining options and pools, and you can take advantage of riding the Disney Skyliner to Epcot and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/interesting-things-about-disneys-hollywood-studios-fun-facts\">Hollywood Studios<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>If I am staying here, the pirate-themed rooms are an absolute must.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div>Disney&#8217;s Yacht and Beach Club resorts are convenient if you love Epcot, but they&#8217;re pricey.<\/div>\n<div>\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" $800<\/p>\n<p><strong>Level: <\/strong>Deluxe<\/p>\n<p>You can choose between beachside vibes or nautical sophistication at Disney&#8217;s adjacent deluxe resorts, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/is-yacht-club-resort-worth-it-for-families-disney-world-review-2021\">Yacht Club and Beach Club<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The two share most amenities, meaning the big sand-bottom pool \u2014 which has a popular slide going through a life-sized shipwreck \u2014 can get packed.<\/p>\n<p>For the price, I find the atmosphere to be a bit too polished, and given the number of guests, on-site dining is always in great demand.<\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s a walking path to the BoardWalk, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/epcot-world-showcase-best-things-to-get-photos-2022-4\">Epcot<\/a>, and Hollywood Studios, but I&#8217;m not sure the location can even justify the price.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div>Disney&#8217;s Art of Animation doesn&#8217;t feel like a value resort.<\/div>\n<div>\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"2445\" number of themed family suites.<\/p>\n<p>For a value price tag, it also packs quite a punch in the amenities department, as it&#8217;s home to the largest pool in Disney World.<\/p>\n<p>The dining options are limited to a basic food court, but it&#8217;s located next to a Skyliner station that can quickly whisk you to the Boardwalk, Epcot, and Hollywood Studios.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div>Disney&#8217;s Contemporary Resort is extremely convenient, but it could use some updates.<\/div>\n<div>\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" favorite for those who spend the bulk of their time at Magic Kingdom, which is just a short walk away.<\/p>\n<p>The overall look could use a refresh. There are no distinct design elements aside from a 90-foot mural by Disney legend Mary Blair, the visionary behind classic attractions like It&#8217;s a Small World.<\/p>\n<p>Among smaller quick-service locations and lounges, the Contemporary is home to Chef Mickey&#8217;s character-dining experience, the new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/steakhouse-71-disney-world-review-worth-it-photos-2022-4\">Steakhouse 71 restaurant and lounge<\/a>, and California Grill \u2014 a rooftop restaurant known for its standout sushi and floor-to-ceiling views of Magic Kingdom&#8217;s fireworks.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div>Disney&#8217;s Animal Kingdom Lodge is certainly a unique collection of African art.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s worth a visit for some of Disney World&#8217;s most celebrated dining locations as well as the resort-exclusive zebra domes \u2014 a fan-favorite dessert filled with white chocolate and mousse.<\/p>\n<p>Serviced only by the bus system, the location is the resort&#8217;s only negative if you&#8217;re looking to explore parks beyond <a href=\"https:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/full-day-at-animal-kingdom-for-families-what-to-do-2022-3\">Animal Kingdom<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div>There&#8217;s something to be said for libations at the &quot;Beauty and the Beast&quot;-themed cocktail bar (Enchanted Rose) and the refined dinner at its newly revamped &quot;Mary Poppins Returns&quot;-themed restaurant (C\u00edtricos).<\/p>\n<p>I love visiting the resort during the holidays because of the impressive Christmas display, including a life-size gingerbread house and stunning href=\"https:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/interesting-things-to-know-about-epcot-at-walt-disney-world\">Epcot<\/a> and Hollywood Studios, and it&#8217;s also home to a popular carousel-themed pool, a magician-inspired lounge, and an Italian restaurant with house-made pasta.<\/p>\n<p>If you can&#8217;t swing the steep price, you can just make time to walk the boardwalk during your Key West Resort<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Well-executed theming, tranquil walking paths, and a standout pool help this resort stand out.<\/p>\n<p>At Olivia&#8217;s Cafe, you&#8217;ll even spy a photo wall of families who return to stay year after year. And I can never pass up the resort exclusive tie-dye cheesecake available in the food court.<\/p>\n<p>The nearby Skyliner station makes traveling to Epcot and Hollywood Studios a breeze.
