Hugh Grant<\/a> has hinted that the next <\/a>Bridget Jones<\/em><\/a> film could take a much more tearful tone than its prequels.<\/p>\n

The fourth instalment<\/a> of the romantic comedy series, starring Renee Zellweger, follows Jones\u2019 life as a single mother following the death of Mark Darcy (Colin Firth).<\/p>\n

Speaking on The <\/em>Graham Norton<\/em><\/a> Show <\/em>on Friday (4 October), Grant opened up on how he had been \u201ccrammed in\u201d to the fourth film as there was \u201cno obvious role\u201d for Daniel Cleaver and the \u201cvery, very sad\u201d nature of the new movie.<\/p>\n

Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy<\/em> will be released in the UK on 14 February 2025.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
