Ex-President Donald Trump<\/a> in his latest scathing attack on immigrants <\/a>has claimed that they commit crimes <\/a>in the US<\/a> due to their \u2018genes\u2019.<\/p>\n

Trump did not hold back in criticizing migrants with less than a month until the presidential election<\/a>. <\/p>\n

\u2018How about allowing people to come to an open border, 13,000 of which were murderers, many of them murdered far more than one person, and they\u2019re now happily living in the United States,\u2019 Trump said on The Hugh Hewitt Show on Monday.<\/p>\n

\u2018You know now a murder, I believe this, it\u2019s in their genes. And we got a lot of bad genes in our country right now.\u2019<\/p>\n

Trump added that his 2024 opponent, Vice President Kamala Harris<\/a>, wants to \u2018feed people governmentally\u2019 by going into a \u2018Communist Party-type system\u2019.<\/p>\n

The former president also accused President Joe Biden<\/a>\u2019s administration of letting \u2018425,000 people come into our country that shouldn\u2019t be here, that are criminals\u2019.<\/p>\n

After Trump\u2019s comment, his campaign spokesperson Karoline Leavitt\u00a0sought to clarify what he meant. She said Trump was \u2018referring to murderers, not migrants\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u2018It\u2019s pretty disgusting the media is always so quick to defend murderers, rapists and illegal criminals if it means writing a bad headline about President Trump,\u2019 stated Leavitt. <\/p>\n

The White House called Trump\u2019s remarks \u2018echoing the grotesque rhetoric of fascists and violent white supremacists\u2019.<\/p>\n

Just last week, Trump vowed that if elected, he will deport Haitian immigrants in Springfield, Ohio, which has received national attention after he pushed the baseless claim that they\u2019re eating residents\u2019 cats and dogs<\/a>.<\/p>\n

And in December, Trump accused migrants of \u2018poisoning the blood of our country\u2019<\/a>. The Biden campaigned likened that to the words of the late Nazi leader Adolf Hitler.<\/p>\n

The number of border crossings decreased this year, according to US officials. <\/p>\n

Trump led Harris 53% to 42% on immigration in a New York Times\/Siena poll <\/a>in September.<\/p>\n
